It helps to even out the texture of my skin and I really like it. If I only put on light makeup for a few hours, I would use it all over, otherwise I would use a matte primer on the nose and then use it on the rest of the T zone.
First of all-I like packaging. I like the details of Tatcha in their products from the box to the notes inside—not to mention what their products are contained in. Silk Canvas Primer comes in a beautiful round jar/compact, with purple and silver details, in line with their brand.
A velvety pressed silk primer that smoothes and makes makeup longer, while removing it from pores and skin, helping to prevent clogged pores and pimples. The product is non-comedogenic, non-irritating, non-allergenic, checked by a dermatologist, and has no residue. The formula does not contain artificial fragrance, mineral oil, sulfate cleaner, urea, DEA or TEA.
It looks white and almost lavender on the skin, but this is actually the pearlescent pigment in the formula at work. The canvas created a smooth foundation on my skin, allowing the product to be applied evenly, skipping any possible textures smoothly.
